We have over 75 different species of reptiles, including snakes, turtles, lizards, and alligators. Most of our residents are venomous snakes because we provide venom for medical research.

The exhibits are indoors, but in separate buildings that visitors walk between. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and planning for outdoor weather to get around the buildings.

It's also important to note that while we do have air conditioning, we keep our buildings in the mid-70s to support our reptiles!

During our open hours, you do not need an appointment.

If you'd like to visit outside of open hours in our off seasons, please call or message us via text, Facebook, email, or this site's contact form to set up a time.

Most tours last 30-45 minutes, but that's up to you! We have an information booth with a guide, and they can answer your questions and tell you about the animals.

You are welcome to move at your own pace - some people stay for hours!

We often post the species for extraction on our Facebook page, but you can call us the morning of your visit to find out as well. It is subject to change, so contacting us the day of will give you the best answer.

In the future, it helps us greatly if you contact us ahead of time so we can make a plan (our exhibit buildings are small and large groups are split between buildings to keep from overcrowding). Groups of 10 or more also receive a 10% discount on admission!

We're always happy to help people identify snakes they find. If you send us a clear picture (preferably alive!) of it, we can tell you what species it is!
